Learn more about Founders4SchoolsOur Story
F4S is a leading multi-award-winning ed-tech charity that leverages the power of the private sector to support educators’ ability to use a self-serve platform to assist their students as they think about their future career paths.
Preparing students for the future in this very uncertain world can be daunting and overwhelming for educators. Accessing the right support often feels overwhelming and limited.
We’re here to transform that journey by providing a new kinds of role-model encounters – tailored, flexible, and accessible to all schools and students.
We’ve built a thriving community of volunteer professionals, leaders, and experts from diverse industries, including tech, finance, healthcare, and the arts. Our innovative platform connects educators and students to these incredible role models through virtual assemblies, classroom volunteering, and teacher CPD programmes.
Our platform uses smart matching technology to align students’ interests and educators’ needs with the most relevant professionals, offering personalised guidance for the challenges they face. Whether it’s exploring career pathways, developing essential skills, or building confidence, our support is practical and targeted.
Flexibility is at the core of what we do. Educators can connect with volunteers as frequently as needed, tailoring their requests to suit their preferences. They can specify details like whether they’d prefer a virtual or in-person session, select the date and time, and refine their search by criteria such as gender, industry, or subject area. This personalised approach ensures they find the perfect match for their needs. Meanwhile, volunteers contribute their expertise in manageable, hour-long sessions, making it simple and impactful for them to give back.
We are proud to collaborate with amazing partners who share our vision of breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for all. Thanks to their support, allows us to offer all our services completely free to educators and students.
To date, our platform has facilitated over 2 million student-employer encounters, opening doors to life-changing inspiration and opportunities. And we’re just getting started, because the need for accessible and empowering educational experiences has never been great.
